Choose one protein ice cream base.
Add all ingredients for your chosen base to a Ninja Creami pint container. For the cottage cheese base, blend first if you want a fully smooth texture.
Whisk until smooth and no dry powder or cocoa clumps remain.
Let the mixture sit uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes.
Cover the pint and freeze overnight, or until completely solid.
Remove the frozen pint from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes, or run the outside under warm water briefly.
Place the pint in the Ninja Creami and process on Lite Ice Cream.
Add 1 to 2 ounces milk or milk substitute, then Re-Spin until creamy.
Add cookies, nuts, chocolate chips, fruit, or a chopped protein bar, then use the Mix-In setting.
Serve immediately for the best soft-serve texture.
Use pudding mix, collagen powder, or gum for a creamier texture and less iciness.
If the ice cream looks crumbly after spinning, add a splash of milk and Re-Spin.
Add chunky mix-ins only after the first spin so they do not turn to dust.
Store unspun pints covered in the freezer for up to 1 month. After spinning, texture is best within a few days.
