  • ½ cup cold water or cold unsweetened tea or tart cherry juice
  • ½ cup hot water just below boiling; green tea can be used

Instructions

  • Pour the cold water into a heat-safe mug or bowl and sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface. Let it sit undisturbed for 3–5 minutes to bloom.
  • Pour the hot water over the bloomed gelatin and stir continuously until fully dissolved and smooth.
  • Add optional flavorings like lemon juice, diluted cherry juice, or replace water with tea if desired.
  • Enjoy warm as a drink before meals or pour into a container and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until set as gelatin.

Notes

Use unflavored gelatin to keep calories low. Avoid boiling water as it can damage gelatin structure. Customize with tea or citrus for better taste. Store in the fridge up to 5 days if set, or 3 days as liquid. Do not freeze.
